Suomenlinna – A fortress of three nations

The Viapori–Suomenlinna fortress has belonged to Sweden from 1748 to 1808, to the Russian Empire from 1808 to 1918, and to Finland since 1918. Our website and exhibition showcases the colorful history of the fort during the Three Kingdoms – welcome to explore!

The exhibitions are open 12th May 2021 – 30th September 2022.
