The Minelayer Louhi

The Minelayer Louhi was built in WW I to the Russian navy, in Kolomna, close to Moskva (and had  the name Voin) and stayed in Finland from year 1918 onwards. It was merged as a part of the Finnish navy with a new name, M1, and was equipped as a minelayer. It was stationed by the navy in Helsinki. The ship was renamed into Louhi in 1936. It also worked as a depot ship for submarines in the 1930s. This miniature model is a part of a collection in Forum Marinum.
